SMS Consent

1st Class Studios sends transactional booking messages to customers who choose texts and internal booking alerts to staff who separately agree. These messages do not promote products or services.

Customer booking form

Visit the public booking form at “Your details & notes.” The visible “Mobile number” field and optional SMS checkbox are in the same booking form. The checkbox authorizes texts to the mobile number entered in that form. The SMS checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Customers enter their own mobile number and check the box if they want booking texts. Changing the phone number clears the checkbox. Customers can book without selecting texts and still receive a booking email.

The checkbox displays this disclosure:

I agree to receive automated text messages from 1st Class Studios about this booking, including confirmation and appointment reminders. Up to 3 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

The Privacy Policy and Terms & SMS Terms are linked beside the disclosure. When checkout begins successfully, the booking record stores the customer’s choice and, if accepted, the consent wording, version, timestamp, and source form. Customer confirmations and eligible appointment reminders require both confirmed payment and SMS consent. There is no separate SMS signup or welcome message before payment.

Staff verbal consent

Staff opt in directly, in person, by verbally agreeing to recurring booking alerts. Staff do not use the customer booking form to enroll. The following wording is reviewed with each participating staff member:

I agree to receive recurring automated booking alerts from 1st Class Studios at my staff number. Alerts cover paid bookings and session details. Frequency varies with bookings. Message and data rates may apply. I can reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or contact 1stclass203@gmail.com / 203-826-8911. Consent is optional. Only staff who agree are included in the studio’s private booking-alert recipient list. Staff phone numbers and individual consent records are not published on this page.
